Altus partner with InnoFlight autopilots

Altus is proud to announce their partnership with Taiwan based specialist manufacturer InnoFlight. Joint development projects are highlighted by the commercial version of the Cerberus-R triple redundant autopilot system.  Altus’ requirements for a robust and reliable flight control system for their commercial applications have seen them move on from their previous dual redundancy system to this new and superior InnoFlight product.

Features of this triple redundant autopilot include a true “voting” system to eliminate the risk of single failure within the loop. The autopilot will also feature RTK GPS as an option for Altus customers as well as a new GCS featuring a dual communications link and totally redeveloped flight planning and execution software.

Additional projects include a new gimbal specifically for aerial survey applications that ensure straight and steady overlap is consistent even in the strong wind conditions that the Altus multirotor platforms are rated to operate in.
