Kansas State UAS Part 107 Training

This course covers the basics of unmanned aircraft vehicle (UAV) flight, UAS flight safety, and FAA rules and regulations for the Small Unmanned Aircraft Operator. Attendees will receive instruction, consultation, and active flight training during the course. Designed for new and current UAS pilots, attendees will learn from experts at Kansas State Polytechnic to safely pilot their UAS. All experience levels are welcome.

Upon completion of this course, attendees will be able to:
Adhere to FAA rules and regulations pertinent to small unmanned aircraft operations
Complete the FAA written examination
Set up small unmanned aircraft operations within FAA regulations
Apply safety practices during flight of small unmanned aircraft
Demonstrate proficient knowledge of UAV flight
Attendees will receive 4 hours of flight time in addition to classroom instruction over the course of 5 days.

Cost:
$1,400 per attendee for August 29-September 2

$1,450 per attendee for September 19-23

Registration fee includes course instruction and materials. September 19-23 fee includes ticket to Art of the Science Wine Walk.

Aircraft:
Attendees will bring their UAS to use during the course. A limited number of aircraft will be available for rent.
