Senseable wins the annual Sky-Watch Labs award

Senseable, a small danish drone technology developing company is pleased to announce it won 1’st price in the annual innovation contest called “Sky-Watch Lab award”. The panel of judges represented companies like IBM Robotics and Boing Phantom Works, as well as Sky-Watch, a Danish developer of professional drones for military and civil use.

Senseable is developing a universal safety system for drones, that constantly monitors the drones health, and is ready to take over operation if the drone shows signs of being in trouble. The safety system consists of three parts, a drone health monitoring system, a system (ALF: Automatic Landingsite Finder) that continuously identifies emergency landing sites and last but not least a system (STL: Safe To Land) that is able to determine movement in a chosen landing site before the actual touch down.

The system is very lightweight and can be attached to almost any drone.

Senseable CEO Jesper Andersen said, “Winning this award has a tremendous impact on my small company. That such a formidable and competent jury choose this particular idea is a great sign that this technology is needed and has a place in this world. This award will surely drive us toward an exciting future.”
