Drone University USA and SRP Team Up with Tampa Fire Department for High Rise Evacuation Drill

Drone University USA and Strategic Response Partners recently put their Disaster Preparedness, Response and Recovery Training Course into action with the taping of a mock high rise fire and building evacuation in downtown Tampa, FL. Working with Massey Disaster Planning and the Tampa Fire Department over 2 full days, the DUU/SRP team captured footage from the air, ground and inside the 39 floor One Tampa Center.

Students who attend the 3-day Disaster Preparedness, Response and Recovery Training Course not only receive the training for the new, FAA 107 commercial sUAS/drone operator’s license and disaster industry specific skills but also become eligible for potential job placement opportunities with SRP nationwide.
