Zephyr T high-altitude pseudo satellite (HAPS) will have four times the payload of Zephyr 8 being able to lift 80kg. Three test flights of the model have have taken place and Airbus expect to fly a full scale version in 2018.

When flown by designers QinetiQ the Zephyr 7 smashed standing endurance RPAS records. Flying from 9th July to 23rd July 2010, the flight lasting 336 hours, 22 minutes and 8 seconds.
