Flying with a drone for video and photo productions

Utah-based Silverhawk Aerial Imaging showcased some cutting-edge drone technology during Aerospace Day at the Utah State Capitol on Friday.

Attendees were able to get a first-hand look at a drone mission in real time.
The mission featured a live, high-definition video stream showing the popular off road trail known as “Hell’s Revenge” near Moab, Utah. Many attendees at the Capitol expressed amazement with the quality of the imagery, as well as the capabilities of the aircraft and crew.

“The flights were a great success,” Silverhawk Chief Pilot Mark Cawley said. “We were able to get some incredible footage of Utah’s unique landscapes and showcased Utah’s amazing outdoor recreation.”

Silverhawk Aerial Imaging is a commercial drone operator specializing in business and industrial applications. These include HD video capture, engineering/surveying, infrastructure inspection and more. Silverhawk holds FAA authorization for commercial operations and conducted the Hell’s Revenge flight in cooperation with the Bureau of Land Management.
