Parrot have added autonomous flight to their tablet or smartphone controlled Bebop drone. Unveiled at our show in San Francisco,  by Parrot CEO Henri Seydoux in 2014 The quadcopter featured inbuilt video stabilization. A first in its class.

Using the FreeFlight 3 app waypoints create a route for the drone to autonomously fly. All the normal 3D aspects of flight planning come into play, speed, height and heading.

Parrot have been working closely with the Dronecode foundation and much more is expected for the Bebop.
