Droning presents its new professional multirotor RPA DE820

DE820H

DRONING Sistemas Aéreos (www.droning.es), an Spanish company dedicated to RPA design and manufacturing, launches its new high-performance RPA DE820 to operate in different areas as environmental, agricultural, inspection and surveying. Being a genuine development, it is tailored to best fit customer demands.

DE820 is a compact foldable multirotor capable of up to 35 minutes of operational flight depending on its configuration. It has been 100% designed and manufactured at droning facilities in Seville.

Although DE820 can be custom configured to any need, droning offers two main versions depending on the specific sector to which it is focused.

Configuration DE820-T (Survey and Monitoring) has 4 motors providing 30 minutes flight time with a quality mirrorless camera like Sony Alpha. The integrated camera gimbal and the careful design of the system assures clear, vibration-free pictures. The four point tripod-like legs provides the best landing stability in rough terrain.

DE820-FI (Filming and Inspection) version provides added redundancy and payloads up to 4 kg. To make this possible, the vehicle has eight motors in coaxial configuration and tri-blade propeller. It is the recommended option when using bulky onboard sensors such as cinematography quality cameras or multispectral cameras.

Droning places special emphasis on the complete integration of sensors on their drones. A flight controller operates them automatically during flight providing a versatile and easy to use platform. It has an intuitive user interface that lets you remotely select points, routes, orientation angles, altitude changes and sensor activations directly from a PC or tablet. It also allows automation of complex flights from takeoff to landing.

Droning commitment to innovation and development pushes their platforms to a continuous improvement, providing expansion options like RTK (Real Time Kinematics) system with precise camera positioning, quick swapping payload system, high-precision landings using Laser telemeter or high endurance batteries. A new version of the DE820 with flight times from 45 minutes to 1h is currently being developed.

In addition, fixed wing platforms like TA2000 are part of droning’s product portfolio. They provide extended flight times and wider surface coverage.
