Hubsan X4 Pro with Parachute to debut at CES

hubsanparachute

I think this is a first for a mass market quad, off the shelf. There are after market parachutes and vendor retrofits. GoPro will have to add one to keep up ;-) Banggood has them for $499.99 for pre order but further down the page explains that…. Hubsan hasn’t released the price, so our price is incorrect.

The X4 Pro features a 3 axis gimbal, GPS positioning, claims 25 minute flight times, automatic take off and land as well as that parachute system that deploys in the event of an emergency.

Interesting that it puts the platform on its back when descending, that’s quite clever protects the camera and gimbal.
