machup
Mach-Up, a free, web-based design tool was recently released to assist developers and engineers in the conceptual design phases of airframe design.
Check it out here: www.mach-up.com
It’s interface was designed to allow developers the ability to quickly create mock-ups for trade studies. As evidence, the homepage demonstrates designing a flying wing in 1 minute. Because it is web-based, no software download or installation is required, and designs can be shared and viewed by collaborators.
Key features include:
– Detailed wing and propeller geometries
– Ability to interface with other CAD software
– Material and lighting options to create realistic graphics
– Protected data and designs
Mach-Up is fully compatible with Windows, Mac, and Android. Basic features are available for iOS users.
