Drones may be ‘on the rise’ but their height is not great enough to out manoeuvre a savvy kangaroo.
The unmanned devices have come under under fire recently after a drone came within feet of a passenger jet near Heathrow and it seems one of Australia’s most well-known creatures is similarly annoyed by their increasing presence.
One video from Australia shows all too well the problem these pesky unmanned aerial vehicles pose to kangaroos just looking for some peace and quiet in the outback.
The footage shows a drone hovering over about six wild kangaroos, with one kangaroo and its baby taking particular interest. It was shot in the Hunter Valley, a wine region in New South Wales a few miles outside of Sydney.
