Flight testing taken to new level

UAV Factory puts its next generation Penguin C through a very rigorous flight-testing program prior to its delivery to the customers.  A separate flight operation department was formed within the company to flight test the Penguin C UAS on an everyday basis and in most diverse conditions.

The Flight Department is lead by Janis Gindra. Janis brings along 10 years of worth of Aviation experience in building flight operations solutions that our future turnkey platform customers will benefit. The aircraft is going through the final test phase that will generate over 1000 hours of flight time during the next 5 months. By putting many thousands of hours into the product, the company aims to bring the Penguin C aircraft to an industry-leading reliability level.

“Our vision is to develop game changer platform for the unmanned vehicles industry,” said Konstantins Popiks.

Important milestones were reached in November, where two aircrafts were on simultaneous flight and night operation was performed, delivering viable data to perfect performance.
