sUAS News Launches Drone TV

sUAS News introduces one more platform to bring the news and current events to the community and public at large. Originally envisioned as a series of 60 second Public Service Announcements (PSA) “This Is My Drone” where civilian end-users would talk about some of the positives unmanned technology is capable of providing. For example, I’m farmer Brown, and I grow the food your family eats, etc. The idea is to try something new and focus less on people that already understand the potential and are proponents, but to get this information out to the wider public audience.

That original concept is/was based on participation from the community in both choosing the PSA subjects to be highlighted as well as contributing or raising the capital to produce the series. I think it safe to say that history has shown that no one is going to step forward and do it for us. Even though, many have believed that we need something easy to understand that is professional looking and can be shared with regulators, lawmakers and the general public. Drone TV has since morphed into a program about current events and a foray into bridging the gap between the manned and unmanned world. Not that the original idea has been discarded other topics and events just have a way of surfacing in this dynamic field. We are still working on this, but for now we hope you enjoy what has been produced. Be sure and send us your comments and ideas for future Drone TV episodes.
