LH Aviation takes over Infotron, the French drone specialist

LH Aviation & Infotron, advised by Magellan Industries, signed a memorandum of understanding for the acquisition of 100% of Infotron’s equity by LH Aviation, the Melun-based light mission aviation specialist.

This operation will enable the two companies to create a group unique in Europe, combining aerospace know-how of the aircraft manufacturer and the technological excellence of the drone designer, which successfully markets the IT180, a vertical take-off drone, all over the world.

Complementary know-hows

This merger naturally fits into the development policies of those two companies: they have chosen to combine their respective expertise to expand their offer and thus better meet the expectations of their rapidly-expanding markets.

Their common innovation culture and their willingness to offer cost-effective solutions open up new prospects at a time of tight budgetary arbitration.

Identical philosophies of work will foster synergies and emulation across teams, for the benefit of a greater responsiveness and a better performance.

In the short term, the new group will propose, on top of its mission airplanes, a complete 100%-French professional drone range, ranging from mini-UAV rotorcraft to the fixed wing tactical drone, thus meeting their customer demands both on the emerging civilian and on the existing military markets.
