Directed Manufacturing Inc. to Display Plastic and Metal 3D Printing Capabilities at AUVSI12
Directed Manufacturing Inc., (DMI), a leading 3D printing rapid manufacturing company for production of plastic and metal parts, components and assemblies, today announced its participation at AUVSI’s Unmanned Systems North America 2012 exposition in Las Vegas, August 6th-9th. DMI will exhibit in Booth #3858.

DMI works directly with aerospace companies and government organizations to deliver 3D printed on-flight parts, as well as tools and patterns. The company also offers a Direct Metal Partner Program to service bureaus and product development companies wanting to offer metal prototypes and end-use parts without having to invest in capital equipment.
Recently, Directed Manufacturing Inc. expanded its direct metal laser sintering capacity with the addition of a Renishaw AM250 selective laser melting (SLM) machine to keep up with growing demand for additive manufacturing technologies within the medical, dental, aerospace and defense industries. DMI’s manufacturing facility also houses 3D Systems Corporation selective laser sintering (SLS), EOS laser-sintering (LS) and Stratasys fused deposition modeling (FDM) equipment. DMI’s 3D printing technologies support the rapid delivery of Aluminum, Cobalt-Chrome, Inconel, Nylon, Stainless Steel, Titanium and Ultem parts.
