Earthquake in Emilia Romagna, the use of a small RPA in emergency situations

Well done Paolo Marras  and the team at Aermatica

AERMATICA offered for free their Remote Piloted Aircraft (drones), equipped with digital and thermal sensors, in support of Government Institutions (Civil Defence, Fire Department, Prefectures) for emergency operations needed after the earthquake.

AERMATICA RPAs, the only ones authorised in Italy by ENAC, may allow non-invasive analysis such as structural studies of the state of infrastructure, support for the planning of interventions, monitoring during the different phases of operation,.

“Rather than propose people, we decided to give our contribution by offering for free technology of our Mini-UAV Anteos. Contacting the local sections of Governmental Institutions and leaving them, of course, the coordination of interventions on the area”
