Outback Challenge High School Competition 2012 Rules released

The rules for the UAV Challenge Airborne Delivery Challenge 2012 for high schools have been released.

New to this year’s high school version of the main Outback Challenge is the so called “search phase”, an optional flying component. Teams will search an area that contains various symbols left by Outback Joe and the team that can read the most symbols wins this part of the competition.

Here you can find the rules document for this year’s High School event.

CIO, sUAS News | "My interest in UAS began in 2006 in the Masai Mara, Kenya where I was working as a bush pilot and met Gary Mortimer. I have always loved computers, maps, aerial photos and any kind of flying thing so the UAS addiction quickly took hold. Since then my interest in these technologies has grown from just an interest to building and flying small UAS as well as getting involved with sUAS News."
