LAPD Adopts Measure Ground Control to Support Newly Approved Drone Program

Washington, D.C. – (September 24, 2019) – Measure is pleased to announce that the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) has approved the use of Measure Ground Control™, a drone program management platform, for LAPD’s Small Unmanned Aerial System (sUAS) Program. The LAPD will use the software to provide flight control, management, and oversight including detailed flight reports for training and deployment operations.

The LAPD operates the largest municipal airborne law enforcement organization in the nation and has trained operators and program managers. The department will be training additional operators and program managers on Ground Control in the coming year.

Measure Ground Control is an end-to-end solution for enterprise drone programs. Ground Control combines a secure, user-friendly flight application with a comprehensive program management portal and has features such as automatic flight tracking and regular activity reporting.
