The BBC has just started reporting an unmanned helicopter loss in Libya, looks like a Firescout from the video shown by Libyan television.

Nato has lost an unmanned helicopter drone involved in the Libyan campaign, a Nato spokesman has said.

Wing Cmdr Mike Bracken said Nato’s command centre in Naples had lost contact with the aircraft at 0720 GMT.

Earlier, Libyan state television said pro-government forces had shot down an Apache helicopter in the western district of Zlitan and showed footage of a wreckage.

However, in his news conference, Wing Cmdr Bracken said Nato had not lost any Apache helicopters.

Found a longer video clip, it was a Firescout
