Kestrel on display at Avalon 2011

Sentient will showcase Kestrel Land and Kestrel Maritime, its automated target detection solutions for full motion video (FMV), next week at the Australian International Airshow and Aerospace & Defence Exposition (Avalon2011) in Geelong, Victor

Kestrel is a software solution that processes electro-optical (EO) and infrared (IR) FMV from manned and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). The software automatically detects and tracks small targets in difficult environments – land and sea – supporting various Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) missions.

As part of the AUVS – Australia’s Unmanned Systems Conference Simon Olsen, Sales Manager at Sentient, will talk about Pixel Level Detection of Moving Targets using EO/IR Sensors at 9:50am on Tuesday, 1 March 2011 at Avalon.
