Demon

Although quite how that will work we are not sure!  The 2.7m wingspan Demon the result of £6.5 million programme jointly funded by BAE Systems and the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) basks in the glory of another big acronym,

FLAVIIR (Flapless Air Vehicle Integrated Industrial Research).

Cranfield University just outside of Milton Keynes designed and constructed the aircraft with the support of partner institutions.
