Uplift Drone Training Receives NQE Approval

Uplift Drone Training (UDT) has launched! Started by two aviation professionals, we aim to deliver the best drone training on the market.

UDT has designed a course from the ground up that leads to the award of the CAA Permission for Aerial Work (PFAW).  This is the qualification required to operate drones – or more correctly Small Unmanned Aircraft in the UK.

The course includes a handbook to study before arrival at the course, a two day ground school at one of our locations across the southeast (more locations will be added) and guidance on how to prepare your operations manual and prepare for your flight test.

Uplift Drone Training has gone a step further and offers an optional third day over the standard PFAW course.  The third day offers flight training on a selection of aircraft from our fleet. This has many benefits over the standard classroom only approach:

• The student pilot learns best practice for flying a drone, rather than a “work it out yourself approach”.
• Aircraft can be seen and flown before purchase, making sure your purchase is the best aircraft for your business needs.
• You can reduce your risk of damaging your aircraft or worse by learning from professionals.

Courses are starting in September at our Brighton training facility, more courses and locations will be added shortly.
