4Rotor Filming collaborates with the Maine DOT Inspection program.
The Maine Department of Transportation invited 4Rotor filming llc. to fly their sUAS over various structures in July. The MDOT is creating an inspection program to maximize safety and efficiency with hopes of integrating the UAS to accomplish the task. These aircraft can provide an unparalleled approach to visual inspections.
One demonstration (left) a sign truss was flown inspecting various points for its integrity from a checklist created by the MDOT.
Capturing hard to get high resolution images that are then inspected by MDOT’s inspectors and engineers. Creating a much safer, efficient and affordable solution to the inspection process eliminating dangerous situations for the members of the MDOT.
