Last Call for Operator Photos in sUAS Guide
This is the last call for operator photos to go into sUAS Guide Issue 2.
It’s almost July and time for sUAS Guide Issue 2! We are calling for photo submissions from UAS operators. The best (quality & wow factor) landscape orientation submission will have their photo displayed on a two page spread in sUAS Guide Issue 2 and the best portrait orientation photo will be shown on a full page.

Photo submissions
This time around, photo submissions are only open to UAS operators doing commercial work. The photo(s) must have been taken ‘on the job’ performing some form of commercial task. Photos showing your UAS platform in action with the relevant job site in the background are preferable but photos taken from your drone are also more than welcome, i.e. the result of the commercial task.
Images must be high resolution. Photos can be in any format as long as it maintains the quality of the photo.
The deadline for submissions is 1200 GMT on Monday 27 June 2016. You can E-mail your photo(s) or cloud sharing link to me via tiaan@suasnews.com
Please provide the following info in the e-mail with your submission:
your company name
photographer name
location Where the photo was taken
drone used
your website link
short description of the photo and the commercial task performed
Stories of Commercial Drones in Action
As always, at sUAS News we are keen to see stories of commercial drone tasks being successfully completed by operators around the world. If you are a UAS operator and have a story to tell about an interesting commercial task you have performed with your drone, write up a detailed “debrief” and send it to us, remember to include lots of hi-res photos of the task and of your drone in action. We then pick the most interesting stories to go into sUAS Guide. The last day that we will consider story submissions for sUAS Guide Issue 2 specifically is this coming Friday, 24 June. You can send your story and photos to the same e-mail as the above photo submissions.
Drone Operators Featured Listing
Our goal at sUAS News is to support commercial drone operators worldwide as much as we can so don’t forget to check out our special commercial UAS Operators advertising package. If you take up a featured listing with sUAS News, you get a featured listing on our drone map(s) for a year as well as a featured listing in sUAS Guide issues 2 and 3. Monday 27 June is also the last day to take up the UAS Operator featured listing package to get into sUAS Guide Issue 2.
