Dronewerx Receives 333 Exemption

DWX 333 Exemption

DRONEWERX®, LLC. an Ohio manufacturer of advanced, high-quality unmanned aircraft systems for the first responder, public safety and infrastructure inspection markets, recently received a 333 Exemption (No. 13630) from the Federal Aviation Administration allowing the company to fly its entire product line of custom systems.

One of the aircraft covered under this exemption is the company’s fifty-two pound heavy-lift DWX-PGX8, making it one of the largest multirotors to be granted permission to fly in the national airspace.

Earlier this year, the company partnered with the University of Cincinnati to create a high-endurance, extremely maneuverable version of the PGX8. Dronewerx’® custom line of long endurance multirotors feature Prop Guard® advanced propeller shielding, weather resistant components, advanced imagery (thermal, multispectral) and completely integrated ground control systems.
