DJI Phantom X

DJI Phantom X

Ready set go…. By next week all of DJI’s new video will be fact in the press all invented by DJI.

A quad is two sticks and four motors, the brain behind it is the important part.

DJI have always followed, granted they do produce excellent RTF products. The Inspire for most commercial purposes is the perfect platform. DJI have not led. Other folks have come up with the innovations that they skillfully bring to market. The folks in their video have not come up with these ideas others have.

I do wonder if this video release will cause a few to hold back on their purchases hoping that they can buy a Phantom X instead….

We all loved the 1980s’ sci-fi visions of the future — the way drones zipped around, blending in as a natural part of everyday life. What if we told you the predictions made in these sci-fi classics are now reality? With the DJI Phantom X, we turn wide-eyed dreams of future possibilities into fact with multi-angle shooting, AI, obstacle avoidance and free-flight object tracking.

There are many examples of all of this brave new thinking. Jeff from Lexar tells us things that were not possible two years ago are now…….

Gesture control 2013 (many of these)

Follow me 2010
Terrain following and collision avoid 2010

Throwing a quad to start 2013 (there have been more earlier but I enjoyed this one)

Come on DJI show us something you have come up with.
