DRONES Are Invading the Golden Globes Red Carpet

Via Carson Daly’s (LOL) Instagram feed is the above video of a DRONE being prepped to patrol tonight’s Golden Globes red carpet, because the robopocalypse is happening. Obviously the mani cam was last year’s awards season gimmick and it’s already crying to itself in a dusty box somewhere. Just kidding, sadly; we will never be free of the mani cam.

With a hella menacing video, the official Globes Twitter account reports that the cameras will be providing red carpet coverage tonight. Carson adds, “Famous, middle-aged, balding men beware,” and Jennifer Lawrence probably should too — not because her hair is thinning, goodness, no, but because if anyone will manage to trip over a drone even while it’s flying 10 feet above her, it’d be that kooky J.Law.
