Cutting edge technology helped a company take to the skies to capture some arial footage.

Shefford-based Setter Play, which has provided play equipment to local schools including Shefford Lower, enlisted the help of Tom Cubis Photography’s drone technology.

Tom sent a camera into the skies to capture exciting aerial footage of Setter’s schemes at local schools.

Shefford Lower School, whose pupils enjoy two recently installed play schemes, were delighted to be involved in the project.

The school’s Lorraine Freeman said: “I hadn’t even heard of drone photography when Setter called, but it was very exciting having the drone zip around the school! I can’t wait to see the shots it took.”

The drone followed a route through the play scheme to display their creativity and highlight the different zones and interest points that go into making a successful design.

Shefford Lower School lent itself well to this, with its playground including sensory areas and pathways, developed with the disabled in mind.

Schools across North Herts have expressed an interest in drone photography to shoot their Setter play schemes.

Managing director Jonathan Bhowmick added: “We have been based locally for nearly two decades, and pride ourselves on our good relationships with local schools, and integration in the local community.”

The drone photography footage is available to view on Setter Play’s website at www.setterplay.co.uk
