Event 38 and 3Dronemapping Bring Drones to South Africa
Akron, Ohio – Event 38, a leading manufacturer of unmanned aerial vehicles for business announced a key partnership with 3Dronemapping, a supplier of aerial mapping systems in South Africa. Under this agreement, 3Dronemapping will offer Event 38’s flagship E384 drone and custom optical sensors to its clients in South Africa.
The E384 drone has a two hour flight time, carries a one kilogram payload and can cover a distance of 70 kilometers. Combined with an Event 38 custom optical sensor, the E384 can fly 1,000 acres in a single flight and provide detail imaging at the two centimeter level.
From its main office in Kwazulu-Natal, 3Dronemapping specializes in aerial data capture mainly for the agriculture and surveying industry but also does imaging for presentation purposes. Their services are used by hundreds of professionals all over Africa.
