Junior School makes Giant Poppy and use UAV to capture the moment

Staff and pupils of Holly Spring Junior School in Bracknell Berkshire wanted to do something a little different to commemorate the centenary of the WWI conflict. Using a local company, Helipix UAV, they were able to get an aerial shot of them forming a giant poppy in the grounds of their school. Pupils and staff dressed in the 3 colours needed to make the poppy and Helipix UAV laid out the shape on the ground for the pupils to use. Then Helipix, using a hexacopter, took the shots of the children in the shape of he huge poppy. A fitting memory to the fallen of the last century taken with the technology and children of this century.
