Cyber Technology (WA) Pty. Ltd. has been in an enduring process with Australians Customs over incorrect paper work relating to the export of parent company equipment.

UAV technology, due to it’s proprietary dual-use nature is a controlled export technology.

This clerical errors were made in February & March of 2013, during a period of significant company restructure and related to the shipping of UAV equipment.

On Friday the 29th August 2014, in a commercial decision, it was agreed to plea guilty in the Perth Magistrates Court. The outcome of this decision was the forfeiture of the equipment and a 12 month good behavior bond.

This has been an unfortunate outcome, considering the nature of the submission error. The error related to an over specified product description, of shipped equipment on register. This caused Australian Customs to hold the equipment. The company’s internal process was rectified in April 2013.

Cyber Technology is a proud Australian designer, manufacturer and exporter of commercial UAV technology. Every effort has been made and continues to be made to comply with all relevant legislation.
