AbelCine is proud to host this quarter’s Aerial Cinematography Production Conference!

This event is for everyone from the enthusiast just starting out up to the established aerial cinematographer committed to evolve their knowledge, skills and set themselves apart from the rest.

Joining us will be some very talented and accomplished cinematographers willing to share their years of experience and beautiful work as well as behind the scenes information on how they set up to acquire their content. The always informative Lucien Miller will be on hand to educate and entertain us with his impressive knowledge of multi-rotors and technology.

Returning to the line up is the vendor showcase. Horizon Hobby will be participating and demonstrating their line of helicopters and multi-rotors. They offer turnkey solutions to get you started learning in your own living room and graduating into larger air ships with integrated gimbal systems to capture some stunning video. Don’t mistake them as just for the consumer hobbyist. Horizon Hobby products are responsible for teaching a lot of us in this field how to fly.

The Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA) will once again be present to give us an overview of the recent changes in FAA regulations and remain on site throughout the day address all your questions. Charles Eide, cinematographer and founder of Fly Safe Training, will tell us all about his UAV Education series and how you can participate. Fly Safe is not only responsible for training and certifying UAV pilots all across the country, but is very active in supporting legislation that benefits our community. You’ll want to be present for this to hear about a training series coming soon!

AbelCine sales agents will also be present to provide you with all the new and exciting information about aerial-friendly cameras and accessories coming fresh off of Cine Gear, including the Panasonic GH4!

If you have not attended an event in the past, this is one to start with. For those of you that have participated in previous events, this reboot of the series will focus on a lot of what you’ve been asking for including flight demonstrations, more detailed information on electronics and telemetry, and access to broader spectrum of talent on hand to answer all your questions.

Seating is limited for this event. Price of admission includes refreshments and entry into the give away. We look forward to seeing you there!
