Jim Williams of the FAA wants more at the sUSB Expo
James (Jim) H. Williams has requested a full hour block of time to present and answer questions from the small business end-user community. He suggested extending his briefing time (briefing & question and answer period) from 30 min to 1 hour. “Judging by past presentations, half an hour will not be enough time for a full discussion. UAS is a very “hot” topic, and it would be best not to try to rush through the slides and questions in just 30 minutes.”
The Friday May 8th schedule has been rearranged to accommodate his suggestion. This represents a unique and welcomed opportunity for a discussion that will be centered on civilian applications for drones. Attendees will hear a UAS airspace integration update and process explanation about the small UAS rule directly from a high level FAA source.
