Bowhead Congratulates the State of Nevada on FAA UAS Test Site Selection

Bowhead Systems Management, LLC(“Bowhead”) would like to congratulate the Nevada State Team on their selection as one of test sites chosen by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) for testing and research of Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) for commercial use. Bowhead is a proud member of this team, leading the program management office (PMO) of the Nevada Institute for Autonomous Systems (NIAS), the organization which coordinates the State’s efforts.

We look forward to partnering with the Governor’s Office of Economic Development, Nevada System for Higher Education (NSHE), our industry partners as well as our neighboring states. We will focus on developing sound policies and procedures in the areas of privacy, commercial certifications, air traffic control, and safe UAS integration into NexGen airspace. We are also looking forward to playing a role in building the cornerstone of the commercial UAS industry in Nevada and the Western Region.”
