Silicon Valley AUVSI Chapter Gets Plugged In

SiliconValley3C

Lately, we hear lots of talk about towns from Poughkeepsie to San Diego vying to transform their localities and regions into the new “Silicon Valley, prairie, alley or cul-de-sac of Drones.” After all, many think that Silicon Valley is just a state of mind.  (A notion that should not be totally discounted out of hand.) However, there is a little bit more to it then that, and I don’t know that I’d start packing for the big exodus to the new technology promised land anytime soon. Contrary to that notion, I believe you’ll see more big drone names moving to and emerging from the bay area.

Whatever the case, most of us may not be able to make the big move out of the garage until the second round of FUN-ding. Until then, we offer this solution for the rest of us.

The Silicon Valley AUVSI Chapter aims to share some of the regional wow with the rest of the world. If you can’t make it to the mountain, then we will bring the mountain virtually to you. The aim of the cyber-chapter concept is to allow anyone with interest, regardless of his or her location, a glimpse into the transformative culture and technologies found only in Silicon Valley. See for yourself why venture capitalists flock here to be a part of what the dreamers, tinkerers and code writers are designing and building.

This valley creep offer isn’t just exclusive to dues paying members of the association. However, all unaffiliated AUVSI members are welcomed and encouraged to join the Silicon Valley Cyber Chapter, as we will have some content reserved for member’s only access. However, everyone is invited to watch the stream on our SVAUVSI Google +
