Swedish UAV manufacturer featured as highlight of IBC 2013

At IBC, the world’s largest broadcasting conference and exhibition, the Swedish UAV manufacturer Intuitive Aerial was awarded for its latest aerial cinematic camera rig, the BLACK ARMORED DRONE. The 12-rotor electrical helicopter was selected most eye-catching of the show amongst 1400 exhibitors.

“Since the introduction of the BLACK ARMORED DRONE in Las Vegas in April 2013, the interest we have received is overwhelming”, serial entrepreneur and Chairman of the Board Jonas Lindqvist says, “After managing to get over the hurdle of limited production we are now already able to deliver one complete system a week”.

The BLACK AMORED DRONE is a carbon fiber multi rotor helicopter with a gyro-stabilized gimbal able to carry 9 kg of camera equipment. The drone has been designed and manufactured in Sweden by a team that has many years of experience within broadcasting, games and special effects, civil aviation, UAV and military fighter technology.
