New website for JARUS

JARUS is pleased to announce the launch of their public website:

http://www.jarus-rpas.org/

The website will be the focal point of the JARUS interaction and communication with the worldwide UAS community.

Besides sharing information about JARUS, the website will have a significant role in the information and consultation process on the JARUS deliverables.

Draft and final deliverables will be published on the website and during a consultation period a command response form will be available to provide comments online.

JARUS is an international group of experts from the National Aviation Authorities (NAAs) and the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA).

Its purpose is to recommend technical, safety and operational requirements for the certification and safe integration of Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) into airspace and at aerodromes. The group will base their work on review and consideration of existing regulations and other material applicable to manned aircraft and the drafting of specific UAS guidance material to cover the unique features and characteristics of UAS.
