Designed as a demonstrator for test missions such as fast reconnaissance, surveillance, targeting and battle damage assessment, Barracuda® is a multi-sensor system. Based on leading-edge technologies, Barracuda® allows Cassidian to achieve high-level competencies in advanced UAS.
Barracuda® is the test bed for the technologies and procedures to be used in mature aerial systems of the future is thus airborne once again under the familiar project name. The results of simulations carried out during the Agile UAV programme are now being verified by the technology demonstrator in real flights.
