Lockheed Martin’s UCLASS concept, Sea Ghost, leverages its experience with the RQ-170 Sentinel Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS), the Joint Strike Fighter F-35C and other Navy program technologies. This experience allows Lockheed Martin to provide the U.S. Navy with a versatile and supportable carrier-based unmanned aircraft solution with capability growth margins to meet future threat scenario requirements.

Capabilities

UCLASS is envisioned to be a versatile, carrier-based unmanned aircraft system that will provide persistent Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) collection combined with a light strike capability. Lockheed Martin’s innovative approach ties airworthiness, carrier suitability and operational safety with an innovative design. Lockheed Martin supports the Navy’s efforts to develop an operational capability within the current schedule and available funding.
