Trident wins $48 million contract for Small Unmanned Aerial Vehicle from U.S

Trident Systems, Inc., Fairfax, Va., is being awarded a $48,512,191 contract for the procurement of technology solutions for persistent Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance on Small Unmanned Aerial Vehicle platforms.

Work will be performed in Fairfax, Va. (75 percent), and Spokane, Wash. (25 percent), and is expected to be completed in August 2015. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.

This contract was competitively procured via electronic request for proposal, with 44 offers received.

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, N.J., is the contracting activity.
